PMG is honored to have certified nearly 300 rare specimens of the Chinese First Series Renminbi from the DC Chio Collection. Issued from 1948 to 1953, the First Series Renminbi were the first notes of the People's Republic of China. Today the Renminbi, often abbreviated as RMB, is in its fifth series.
These amazing selections from the renowned collection of Ibrahim Salem were featured in two sales by Spink in April and October 2019.
